February Update

Hello everyone! Since re-establishing the History Graduate Student Association at the University of North Alabama this past fall, we have been busy preparing to publish The Willingham Magazine and Journal, growing our social media presence, and producing blogs for everyone. As the end of the spring semester approaches, so does the publication of The Willingham Magazine and Journal. To prepare, HGSA hosted a Workshop Day on February 10th, where our members discussed design principles, photography, and how to give presentations. The workshop was conducted in a hybrid format, which allowed all of our members to meet, even while we were spread across the country. Special thank you to Wade Johnson, 3D artist, and Sam Thigpin, University Photographer, for joining Kurt Vetters and myself in presenting to HGSA members. Our call for papers closed on February 21st and we have begun to review the submissions. As we continue to work on our publication be on the lookout for more updates via the blog and social media posts, and thank you for keeping up with our work!
